Splits

Your splits, locked beforethe beat exists.

01

Set it once.

Choose how master and publishing revenue divides between you and the buyer. Takes a sec. Applies to every auction you run until you change it.

02

Room sees it before they bid.

Your split sits in the license preview on screen during the auction. Whoever bids is agreeing to your terms — not negotiating them afterward.

03

Every license carries it.

When the auction ends, the Beat License writes itself with your split inside, signed by both sides. No split sheets. No chasing signatures. BAGR takes 0% of your masters and publishing.

“I price my beats against a marketplace that is rapidly losing value every year. Live beat auctions surface what a beat is actually worth, in real time, while bringing artists and producers closer together.”

“Went from 0 to 1.6K followers by giving value first: free beats, sound packs. BAGR carries that forward by building master royalty participation into all three split configs before the first bid lands.”

FAQ

YOUR QUESTIONS,ANSWERED

Start here

What is BAGR?

BAGR is a live auction platform for hip hop producers. A producer goes live, makes a beat from scratch on stream, and auctions an exclusive license to that beat to the people watching — in the same session.

Every beat has to be made live and is sold once. No re-listing after a sale.

How does a live beat auction work?

On BAGR, a producer sets their splits and a starting bid, then opens a room and goes live. Viewers watch the beat get built in real time.

When the producer is ready, bidding opens. Viewers bid against each other while the beat is still being made. The highest valid bid when the auction closes wins the exclusive license, and the beat comes off BAGR permanently.

For buyers

What am I actually buying when I win a BAGR auction?

The beat as a WAV, all its stems, and BAGR's exclusive Beat License.

What kind of license comes with a BAGR beat purchase?

The BAGR standard exclusive license. You get exclusive rights to record, release, stream, perform, and monetize a song built on that beat, with no usage limits — and no other artist can ever license it.

The producer keeps ownership of the beat itself. You own the song you made with it. You can read the full license in the app before you ever place a bid.

What fees do I pay if I win a BAGR auction?

Your winning bid, a 4% Buyer Service Fee, and tax where it applies. You're charged the second the auction closes.

When do I get the beat after the auction closes?

The producer has 24 hours to upload your files, and you're notified when they land.

You can preview everything right away, but downloads unlock once you confirm the files are what you paid for. That confirm button is also what releases the producer's money — so nobody's waiting.

Can I put a song made with a BAGR beat on Spotify and sell it?

Yes. The exclusive license covers commercial release, streaming, live performance, and monetization, with no cap on streams or units.

What happens if the producer never sends the files?

You get your money back automatically. If the producer misses the 24-hour delivery window, or can't deliver working files in three attempts, BAGR refunds the full purchase price without you having to fight for it.

For producers

How much does BAGR take from a beat sale?

15% of the winning bid.

When do I get paid after selling a beat on BAGR?

After the buyer confirms they received their files. If they sit on it, it auto-confirms at 72 hours and your payout is released anyway.

Do producers keep master royalties on BAGR?

Yes. Master royalty participation is built into all three of BAGR's split configurations before the first bid is placed and no longer something you negotiate for.

BAGR's commission applies to the auction sale only. BAGR takes nothing from master revenue, publishing revenue, or any other downstream money.

Can a beat be sold again after a BAGR auction?

No. Every beat auctioned on BAGR has to be made live in the session it sells in, is sold to one buyer, and is permanently removed from new sales on the platform.

Beats sold on BAGR can't have twenty older songs already on it.

Practical

How old do you have to be to use BAGR?

13 and up. If you're 13 to 17, you use BAGR through an account your parent or legal guardian creates and controls: their name, payment info. The account is their responsibility.

Do I have to show my face to sell beats on BAGR?

No. Plenty of producers stream hands, pads, and screen only. What has to be on stream is the beat getting made.
